Husqvarna Viking 6270

Husqvarna Viking 6270

The Husqvarna Viking 6270 is a simplified version of the 6370 model. Technically, the sewing machines are almost identical. The only differences are that in the 6270, the “lobes” part of the A stitch cam is inside the machine on the fixed cam and there is a cover plate on the hole in the back cover where the stitch cams are swapped on 6370. Also the front panel is different: there are only A-pattern stitches on it.

The fixed cam of this Husqvarna Viking 6270 sewing machine was severely broken and the pattern selector was jammed. I made a long video of releasing the jam, where the process is visible from start to finish.

I have managed to tune the machine to really nice condition. It is quiet and feels solid in all situations. This is currently the No. 1 machine for my sewing projects.
